Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 17, 2026
1. Introduction
AICV Maker ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you visit our website and use our resume building services.
2. Information We Collect
We collect information that you provide directly to us, including:
- Resume Data: The current public builder keeps the resume details you enter in your browser's local storage and creates the PDF on your device. We do not send those fields to our application server.
- Usage Data: If you accept optional Google Analytics, we use limited product events such as opening the builder or completing a PDF download. Those events do not include resume text, names, email addresses, or phone numbers.
- Cookie and device data: When you accept optional Google Analytics or advertising, Google and other service providers may process cookies, web beacons, IP addresses, browser/device identifiers, and pages or interactions needed to provide, measure, and protect those services.
- Hosting, security, and reliability data: Our Cloudflare hosting and security services may process limited technical information, such as IP address, browser characteristics, request data, and performance information, to deliver, secure, and maintain this website. Those services do not receive resume fields from the public builder.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the limited information described above for the following purposes:
- To provide and maintain our resume building service.
- To make the browser-based resume builder and PDF export work on your device.
- To deliver, secure, and maintain the reliability of our website.
- With your optional Google Analytics consent, to understand anonymous product activity and improve our tools.
4. Resume Data Storage
Resume information may include work history, education, skills, achievements, and contact details. The current public builder stores this draft only in your browser's local storage; it is not sent to our application server for generation, review, or analysis. You can remove it with the builder's “Start blank” button or by clearing your browser data. Do not enter sensitive information that is not needed for a job application.
5. Cookies, advertising, and your choices
Essential browser storage keeps your resume draft and saves your privacy choice on this device. Our hosting and security provider processes limited technical request and performance data to deliver and protect the site. Optional Google Analytics and Google AdSense do not load unless you choose to accept them. Advertising, if enabled after AdSense approval, is limited to editorial article pages and is clearly labelled.
When optional advertising is enabled, third parties, including Google, may place and read cookies in your browser or use web beacons, IP addresses, and other identifiers as part of ad serving, measurement, fraud prevention, and, where permitted, personalization. We do not send your resume fields or contact details to Google for advertising or analytics.
Visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland can accept or reject optional services before they load, and can withdraw or change their choice at any time using the Cookie Settings link in the footer. We will use the consent mechanism required by Google for any AdSense serving in those regions.

6. Data Security
We implement appropriate technical and organizational security measures to protect your personal information. However, please note that no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your personal data, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.
7. Sharing of Information
We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal identification information to others. We may share generic aggregated demographic information not linked to any personal identification information regarding visitors and users with our business partners, trusted affiliates, and advertisers for the purposes outlined above.
8. Third-Party Services
Our service may contain links to third-party websites or services. With your optional consent, we use Google Analytics to understand site use and may use Google AdSense on editorial article pages after approval. Those services are governed by their own privacy practices in addition to this policy.
9. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict the processing of your personal data. To exercise these rights, please contact us at the email provided below.
